1. What Yorkseed is
Yorkseed is a networking and information platform that helps founders, investors and allocators discover and contact each other, and that provides research and planning tools. Yorkseed is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, funding portal, exchange, bank or law firm, and does not hold client funds or execute transactions.
2. No advice, no offer
Nothing on the platform, in our emails, events, decks or tools is legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security or interest in any fund. Any offering is made only through the relevant issuer's own documents, to eligible persons, and in compliance with applicable law. You are solely responsible for your own decisions and should take independent professional advice.
3. Calculators, estimates and AI outputs
Calculators, cost estimates, scores, match percentages, diligence reports, memos and other outputs are illustrative. They depend on the information you enter and on assumptions, public sources and AI models, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Actual results will differ. You should verify all outputs independently before relying on them.
4. Investor List and third-party information
The Investor List and other directories are compiled from public and third-party sources for information only. Inclusion is not an endorsement, does not mean a firm is affiliated with Yorkseed, is actively investing or will respond, and does not guarantee accuracy. Firms may ask us to correct or remove an entry.
5. Members, deals and introductions
Yorkseed does not verify, vet for suitability, endorse or guarantee any member, company, investor, fund, deal or introduction, and is not a party to any agreement between members. Investing in early-stage companies and funds is speculative, illiquid and high risk, and you may lose all of your capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Do your own diligence.
6. No warranty, limitation of liability
The platform is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yorkseed, its founders, affiliates and personnel are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the platform or any content on it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Your responsibilities
You confirm that information you provide is accurate, that you will comply with the securities, tax and other laws that apply to you, and that you are responsible for determining whether you are eligible to take part in any investment, including any accredited or qualified investor requirements in your jurisdiction.
